Our goal at Westdale Children’s School is to foster a lifelong love of learning. Each child develops in a different way from the next, and with the support of our calm, caring teachers, the children can explore their environment while developing social skills, self-confidence, concentration, and their own unique abilities.

Nature Casa
Ages 30 months to 6 years (30 months by September 2024)
Our Nature Casa Program creates an environment that nourishes a child’s deep sense of wonder, joy, and imagination. The children spend a generous amount of time outside every day, in all weather conditions, developing a deep relationship with our earth and its subtle seasonal rhythms.
Spending more time in nature balances the sensory overload and assists children in cultivating more harmonious play while outside.
In 2022, we added our newly renovated indoor space to the school’s program. This space was carefully curated by our teachers, with each corner of the room devoted to offering the children wondrous opportunities for learning, discovery, and creative endeavours. *2024 brings exciting changes as we expand to a second indoor space!
Parent and Child
Ages 1 to 4
Join other parents, guardians, and children for a leisurely walk from the school to the neighbouring park to enjoy circle time filled with stories, songs, and fun-filled activities.
Every session, the children get to explore the beauty of nature through hikes on a local trail, where they’ll gain confidence and independence, all while their families create lasting friendships within the community.
